SpeedTree Cinema обеспечивает уникальный подход к процедурному и моделированию вручную, позволяющий создавать точные копии деревьев и растений быстрее, чем когда-либо прежде. Начать можно с большой библиотеки (поставляется с лицензией Cinema) или создавайте из своих заготовок листиков, модели ветвей и текстур. Проект экспортируется как сетка с запечённой анимацией ветра через кэш вершин (Point Cache), а затем с ним можно будет работать в предпочтительном пакете рендеринга. С лёгкостью интегрируется с решениями для создания цифрового контента и специальных эффектов, включая Maya, Houdini, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Rhino и другими. SpeedTree использовалось при создании таких фильмов, как «Аватар», «Железный человек 3», «Стартрек: Возмездие», «Одинокий рейнджер» и «Война миров Z».


SpeedTree Cinema delivers a unique procedural plus hand modeling approach that lets you create exactly the tree or plant you want faster than ever before. Start with our large species library (all of which is yours with a Cinema license) or create your own using custom leaf or branch models and textures. Export as a mesh with baked-in wind animation via point cache, and then bring it into your rendering package of choice. SpeedTree Cinema is available in 32- and 64-bit versions available for Windows, and for the first time, Mac and Linux. It easily integrates with digital content creation/special effects software, including Maya, Houdini, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Rhino, and more. As seen in films such as Iron Man 3, Star Trek Into Darkness, The Lone Ranger and World War Z, this special effects software toolset is intended for use in films and visualization projects at high-end studios and other cinematic facilities.

SpeedTree Cinema Features
• Artists can take full control with the SpeedTree Modeler. It handles both ultra-realistic and heavily stylized trees.
• The complete SpeedTree Model Library – hundreds of species and thousands of high-quality texture maps at your fingertips.
• Export to a variety of popular formats including Alembic, FBX and OBJ. Your trees will come across to Maya, 3ds Max or other apps perfectly intact, including normals and UVs.
• Export wind animations via point cache or do it manually with the provided skinned skeletal data.
• Save time with procedural modeling, or get exact results with hand drawing.
• Create subdivision surface models using procedural and hand modeling tools.
• Simulate Animated Growth of trees and plants using an artist-friendly tool,
• Transition models through a full range of Season Changes with a slider control.
• Use our built-in world builder to quickly place thousands of trees, and then export their transforms in a simple ASCII format.
• FBX Processor scripts for several popular 3D packages including 3ds Max and Houdini, that let you render your trees faithfully in third party apps. World building scripts are included for getting whole forests over, too.

SpeedTree Modeler Features
• Hand drawing. Draw branch structures directly in the viewport using a tablet device or the mouse.
• Easily create procedurally generated subdivision surface models that are ideal for “hero tree” pipelines and more.
• Simulate animated growth of trees and plants using an artist-friendly tool. (SpeedTree Cinema only)
• Use forces to curl, twist, or gnarl any tree part.
• Grow around props. Make trees grow around or inside arbitrary meshes.
• Scale resolution. Quickly scale the amount of polygonal detail without affecting the shape of your model.
• Edit individual tree parts without affecting the rest of the tree. Our node-editing approach lets you tune or delete any branch, frond, or leaf.
• World building with tree placement export directly from the Modeler. (not included with SpeedTree Architect)
• Alembic export. Export files in the open Alembic framework (.abc). (not included withSpeedTree Architect)
• Weld branches. No more lighting seams or branch intersections.
